Jimboy’s Tacos was started in the summer of 1954 by a husband and wife team in a converted 16-foot trailer in Kings Beach , Lake Tahoe .  A few years later, they opened a small stand in Sacramento and began to offer franchises to others on a limited basis.  Jimboy’s Tacos currently has 43 locations through out California and Nevada .
