Summary
The
Alumni Association and the Business Alumni Chapter co-produced its
second Speed Networking event on Monday, October 1, 2007 at the Alumni
Center. We had a 50% increase in attendance from the first
event. The event was open to both alumni and non-alumni and
featured one hour of one-on-one networking. Participants had an
opportunity to network with 34 other participants with the goal of
increasing their personal network for career advancement or business
expansion. The alumni association provided drinks and
appetizers. The event is
free for first time participants, whether you're an alumni or
non-alumni. Participants returning to participate in a second
event are required to bring an associate. If repeat participants
are members of the
alumni association admission is free, but for non-member participants admission is $20. Parking in the Sacramento State parking lot is
$5.00 per car.
