On
Tuesday, October 21, 2008 the Business Chapter, the Sac State
Alumni Association and the Franchise Tax Board held the first
Experienced Hire Government Career Fair at the Sac State Alumni
Center. The event featured 20+ representatives from 10 state
agencies. The event format was a panel discussion and a
traditional free roaming career fair. Attendees were given
Information about the state government hiring process and the
state agency representatives talked about their specific agencies
and current and future opportunities for experienced hire
candidates. Over 150 working professionals attended the
event and took advantage of this rare opportunity to interact with
state agency employees and recruiters.
